Derby Theatre and In Good Company say:
We’re so excited to launch our fifth annual Departure Lounge Festival, at Derby Theatre from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 July! You’ll get your usual dose of Edinburgh previews, as well as tried and tested work, and a couple of brand new works-in-progress. We’re also delighted to announce that we will be hosting Little Earthquake’s East Meets West Symposium and our family day will return to finish off the weekend with some exciting new work for young audiences.
Performance highlights include Declining Solo by the award-winning Two Destination Language; O No! by Jamie Wood, one of the most talked about shows of Edinburgh Fringe 2015; an exciting preview of fanSHEN’s Lists For The End of The World before it heads to Edinburgh this summer; the award-winning Milk Present’s brand new work-in-progress BULLISH; and intimate one-on-one performance PUBE by Eugénie Pastor. Plus we’ve got workshops from Forced Entertainment and Justin Audibert, along with a quick-fire Q&A shining a light on theatre’s glorious achievements and epic failures.
