Moving forward from my original theatre blogging site I would like to offer a huge welcome to theatre lovers across the East Midlands and beyond to this theatre based website. I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to professionally review dozens of theatre productions across the region over the last two years, always with great feedback and support from within the industry. Now it seems especially appropriate to give some of that support back and to offer a great service here via East Midlands theatre updates on forthcoming programmes and continue reviewing theatre in all its forms.

You can look forward to considered and informed theatre reviews; up to date East Midlands professional theatrical promotions and even features on players and playwrights in the region. Top of my list in these matters will be Nottingham Playhouse, Derby Theatre, Curve Leicester and Nottingham Theatre Royal and Concert Hall. As a fine region with smaller but internationally recognised companies such as New Perspectives and Fifth Word and the theatre writing company Act 2 around expect exciting and varied news on a regular basis.
