RETOLD is a series of newly commissioned plays by Derby Theatre, aiming to crack open classic tales and tell them afresh from the perspective of female characters.

Jane Wainwright is a former member of the Royal Court’s Young Writers programme, Invitation Group and ‘Supergroup’. As well as being under commission to Derby Theatre, she is also developing a play for BBC Radio 4.
